News , India - 12 April 2017

Olive ridley sea turtles crawl in the sand after hatching near the mouth of the Rushikulya river in Odisha, India on April 12, 2017. The mass hatching was much-awaited; it was delayed about five days due to unseasonal rains in the area. The hatching should continue for four or five more days. The coast of Odisha is billed as the world’s largest nesting ground of the turtles.
