A flashmob gathered in Parliament Square two days ahead of the Election to demonstrate against what was claimed to be fearmongering by the right wing media.
The flashmob event, codenamed Hope vs Fear, took to Parliament Square for a mock sword fight using tabloid newspapers as weapons and then dumped the ragged papers into a pile with a sign reading "Let the truth hang out".
The flash mob comes in a wave of voter disaffection and under the expectation of a hung parliament, a parliament under which no political party holds an outright majority.
