"Lance Corporal Ram Bahadur Limbu (born 8 July 1939) won his Victoria Cross in a mostly forgotten war, the Indonesian Confrontation, in Borneo in 1965. Nepalese Gurkhas won thirteen Victoria Crosses, including countless other military awards.
Ram Bahadur Limbu is only surviving and youngest Gurkha soldier who was awarded the medal."
