Post Office employees went on strike in Peshawar, Pakistan on May 22, 2012, and protested in front of the General Post Office of Peshawar. Angered by the lease policy of the Pakistani federal government, they demanded that the policy be stopped. They protested by carrying signs with slogans and chanted outside the post office. If the policy of the government is not changed, the strikers have threatened to begin to take more drastic measures.
