City Hall in London was the venue to a flash mob for meditation earlier, on April 26, 2012.
Organised by 'Wake Up London', the zen master Thich Nhat Hanh followers assembled at 6 p.M., Meditated and chanted for an hour. Similar events were planned in 200 other cities.
Wake Up London, is a community of young people practicing mindfulness in the tradition of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, and coordinated with over 200 cities worldwide every month.
Participants staged a "sitting meditation" and made a "sound bath" using whichever mantra or sound (Om, Ah, Ong, Nah). The events aim to spread awareness of meditation to the public and to come together as a community and send positive intentions into the world.
