Even if he's been injured at the beginning of this year, Alistair Brownlee, raced the 10km run and crossed the line in Hyde Park with a union jack draped over his shoulders.
It was Great Britain's record-equalling 19th gold medal of these London Olympics 2012.
For the last three years, Brownlee has been one of the best and promising triathlete in the world until he tored his Achilles at the start of the year. Everyone thought the injury could compromise and even ruined his Olympic dream.
At the end of the race he declared: "The race was unbelievable and the crowds were amazing," (...) "My ears are still ringing from all that noise."
