The Royal Ascot is an annual event that lasts for five days and features the world's top-ranked horses. Each day begins with a Royal Procession.
Among the members of the royal family who attended the Royal Ascot were Her Majesty the Queen, Prince Philip, Princess Anne, Princess Beatrice and Mrs. Carole Middleton, mother of Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge.
Black Caviar's participation in the race attracted attention from racing fans around the world. The 6-year-old horse won the Diamond Jubilee Stakes on Saturday, in spite of an injury. The race was Black Caviar's 22nd victory. Moonlight Cloud finished second, while Restiadargent finished third.
Black Caviar has yet to lose a race.
