London installs Olympic rings under Tower Bridge

Sports London, United Kingdom - 18 June 2012

Giant Olympic rings are installed under the walkways of Tower Bridge in London, England on June 18, 2012.

Our contributor writes:

"The rings, measuring 25 meters by 11 meters, will be lowered into view later this month ahead of the London 2012 Olympic Games."

According to an article on the BBC website, the rings will not be suspended from the bridge until later this month.  The rings are also retractable, in order for tall ships to pass through.

The Olympic rings, along with the Paralympic Agitos will remain suspended until the end of the Paralympic Games.

For more information about the Olympic rings, check out this article.
