Stars attend "The Amazing Spider-man" Gala Premiere in London

Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans attend the Gala Premiere of their new 3-D film  "The Amazing Spider-man," in Leicester Square Gardens, London on June 18, 2012. Sam Faiers, Georgia Salpa, Lauren Pope, Anna Friel, Lydia Bright and Donna Air also attended the premiere.

Andrew Garfield plays a teenage Peter Parker, who, in the film, delves into his family's past in order to better understand his newly acquired superpowers, as he evolves into Spider-man. Emma Stone plays Gwen Stacy, Parker's love interest, while Rhys Ifans plays Dr. Curt Connors, Spider-man's enemy.The film, which was directed by Marc Webb, also stars Denis Leary, Sally Field and Martin Sheen. "The Amazing Spider-man" is Columbia Pictures' fourth Spider-man film.

The film will be released June 28, 2012 in Europe and July 3, 2012 in the United States. A sequel to the film is already in the works.
