Jamaican High Commission Flag Raising Ceremony took place at the O2 Arena in London on August 6, 2012. Thousands of people came to watch the Flag Rising Ceremony for the occasion.
 

The Jamaican High Commission held a flag raising ceremony to commemorate Jamaica's 50th year of independence.

High Commissioner Aloun Ndombet-Assamba received the Jamaica flag by Jamaica Defence Force from UK Government Representative Mr. Henry Bellingham.
