Solidarity protest with young left activist Deniz in Nuremberg

News Nürnberg, Germany - 01 May 2012

A solidarity protest for the young left activist Deniz, who is imprisoned for violence against police, was organized on May 1st, 2012, in Nuremberg.

The protest went from "Gostenhof", after a few speeches, at about 14:00h to the city center of Nuremberg and the same way back.

Deniz is a young (17 years) left activist who got arrested because of violence against police officers at a protest in April in Nuremberg. In fact, none of the officers was injured but Deniz is still in arrest in Nuremberg. Because of this situation he may loose his oppurtunity for a job and apprenticeship. The protest of May 1st takes place every year but this year it was also a solidarity protest with Deniz.
