The Russian singer Irina Ponarovskaya decided to leave Russia and settle in Estonia. She declared her decision at June 3, during the opening ceremony of Anna Tchainokova's (her duaghter-in-law) art exhibition in Narva-Joesuu, Estonia.
According to the information in Russian media, at the end of the last year, she first decided to leave Russia because of her 27-years old son Anthony. Anthony was born from a marriage with the black musician Weiland Roddy. Anthony has frequently been the victim of attacks by skinheads in Russia, and once he even ended up in intensive care.
Anthony and his wife Anna Tchainokova, daughter of famous Russian painter Grigory Tchainokov, also decided to move to Estonia. All of them are settled in the family house of Ponarovskaya, where she spent her childhood in Estonian resort Narva-Joesuu.
