Traditional Breakfast in Indore & M.P.

Life Indore, India - 20 June 2012

Traditional breakfast from INDORE M.P. – Almost last 40-50 years people from Indore & rest of the Madhya Pradesh are eating a traditional breakfast –(Seasoning) POHA ( little spicy & tasty smashed rice ) which was introduced by a Maharashtrian person who came from Maharashtra. While serving POHA extra taste is given by adding Namkeen , chopped onion , & Masala ( Jeeravan -- digestive powder )

This POHA became so famous that now a days it is available in every corner of any city from Madhya Pradesh. Along with people take JALEBI , which is a sweet snacks, normally taken with POHA side by side

This was (JALEBI) was introduced in 1940 when British ruled India.
