Londoners MoonWalk against breast cancer in Hyde Park

Life Baywater, United Kingdom - 12 May 2012

Women sported their favorite and most colorful bras during the 2012 MoonWalk for the fight against breast cancer on May 12, 2012 in London. Walk the Walk, a charity organization, sponsored the special day in Hyde Park.

Over 17,000 women and men went ‘Rockin around the World’, wearing beautifully decorated bras, which is the trademark of the charity. Hyde Park was transformed into a ‘Rock and Roll’ rendezvous that night with power walkers and bra-bearers uniting against breast cancer. At midnight, they all participated in a marathon or half-marathon.

The MoonWalk London raised financial support for researching breast cancer and for organizations that give emotional and physical support for those struggling with cancer today.  Walk the Walk also encouraged men and women to become healthier through power walks — and learning to take responsibility for their personal well-being.
