Official Opening of Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2010

The annual 10 days of jazz to be heard from everywhere around in Copenhagen outdoor and indoor has started and is going on (july 2-11).

As the biggest of its kind in Europe, this summer it presents 1000 concerts from 100 stages.

The programme of CJF for the 32nd time includes local, nordic and international stars and jazz legends like Herbie Hancock, Eddie Palmieri, Diana Krall, Marcus Miller, David Sanborn and french jazz pianist and composer Martial Solal. Performances at places like Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen Jazzhouse and the historical (now reopened) Jazzhus Montmartre.

The pictures are taken at the official opening by Festival Chairman Anders Laursen and Culture Minister Per Stig Møller at Frue Plads, friday july 2nd 2010 at 14h30.
