"Nearly 200 people filled the East End of the Federal Plaza, in downtown Chicago, on the night of the 2nd of december to protest President Barack Obama's expansion of the war in Afghanistan and the deployment of 30 000 troops", recounts our contributor.
"Speakers called for the immediate removal of all troops from Afghanistan and Iraq. Protesters shouted for the U.S. to get out of Afghanistan and Iraq and to focus on domestic problems", he explained.
