First international earthquake simulation in Algemessi, Spain

The Bank experienced, on June  23, 2012, the final phase of simulation that has been replicated in different locations an earthquake of 7 magnitude on the Richter scale, similar to that suffered by Haiti in recent years. Over 500 people participated in a highly realistic exercises in which they implemented the scenarios derived from seismic chaos. The NGO Intervention, Aid and Emergency (IAE) enlisted the help of rescue teams from six countries (Spain, Germany, Holland, France, Italy and Portugal) plus the cooperation of United Nations, which broadcast the live simulation through its website.

IAE organized by the NGO and NGO collaboration interventions, and Emergency Help. They have organized the first international drill from Earthquakes in Algemessi ciudad of day 22 and June 23. With the participation of 500 people from 6 different countries to improve their preparation to the rescue.

The drill will last for 24 hours and will represent an earthquake of magnitude 7 on the Richter scale, and will be attended and rescued more than 240 real victims in the rubble. The simulation is conducted under the rules and systematic UN INSARAG
