Chile: Flying machine Aeroflorale II runs on plants

Entertainment Santiago, Chile - 15 January 2014

Aeroflorale II, a flying machine that runs from energy produced by plants, lands in Constitution Square in Chile on January 15, 2014. 

The 15 meter high aircraft, first launched in 2010, travels the world looking at plants' potential to generate electricity. Scientists are currently testing plants from the Chilean flora.
