Egypt's Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF) were at their most violent as they beat up protestors, fired bullets at them and resorted to other such violent methods in a bid to quell the Occupy Cabinet movement in Cairo on December 17, 2011.

Over 15 people were killed and 300 injured during the clashes as protesters hurled rocks and molotov cocktails at military police in retaliation.

Our contributor adds:

"The owner of these photos got injured in the eye while covering the events due to army throwing glass and rocks from building tops."

The 12th picture in the package shows the Cabinet building in the background.
