In the first of three rounds of demonstrations on November 17, 2011, Occupy Wall Street protesters marched to Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange in New York City.

The NYPD barricaded the surrounding area; however, this did not prevent the march from reaching critical intersections.

Our user adds:

"Reports from Twitter indicated four intersections were shut down. Two of those intersections were Exchange Place and William Street and Beaver and William Street. Around 150-200 Occupy Wall Street supporters blocked each one until they converged."
