Student Demonstration Repressed by Police in Algeria

ALGIERS - Several hundred students marched in the city center Monday, May 2nd, demanding more recognition for higher education in the workforce. They were met by riot police armed with batons and shields, who broke up the demonstration causing at least 20 injured.
