Arts Council of Indianapolis paints the town for Superbowl XLVI

Entertainment Indianapolis, United States - 30 October 2011

The Arts Council of Indianapolis and the City of Indianapolis are partners in the creation of "46 for XLVI", a program for the beautification of the City of Indianapolis and Marion County ahead of Superbowl XLVI.

Local and national artists will create 46 murals in various locations throughout Marion County. As of October 29, 2011, half of the 46 have been completed and all murals are scheduled to be done ahead of the Superbowl which will be played in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium on February 5, 2012.

The attached photographs are of completed murals that line an area in downtown Indianapolis called "The Canal", taken on October 29, 2011.
