In Japan, where fish is a main diet staple, it is unusual to have such a crisis relating to seafood. You are able to find shelves of fish stacked to the brim even at the end of the day. Discounts of up to 50% have been applied to the fish, but it makes no difference. People are still wary of products coming from the sea.
