Are Egyptian Generals encouraging sectarian violence to delay elections?

Twenty-five people are dead and more than 300 injured in Cairo after clashes between the Egyptian Army and Copts during a demonstration on October 9th. Some fear an escalation of sectarian violence in Egypt, while others denounce the government for wanting to destabilise the country and choke the revolution.
