East Java's massive mud volcano continues to ooze foul sludge over the countryside
During the past three years, the dredging machines, damaged by the mud, have often breaked down.
The mud has already killed 13 people and displaced more than 42,000 people, consuming homes and farmland and defying every attempt at containment
"A dredge machine has been tested in Porong in Indonesia to evacuate the mu flow, where more than 15,000 people left their homes three years ago.
The equipments of pumping, damaged by the mud, often breaks down. They must unceasingly be clogged and elevated.
Today, thousands of people are still living in shelters, and the mud flow shows no end in sight" tells our witness
