Editor
Position
The editor will be responsible for the editorial line of Citizenside and will engage in dialogue with Citizenside's citizen reporters.The position involves a considerable involvement in the management of the Citizenside community, by answering questions, launching polls and quizs, and posting to Facebook and Twitter pages. He or she will have to verify, qualify and categorize the content received from contributors, and perform market research to determine what content to sell to which publications in France and internationally. This is the commercial aspect of the editorial work, which is an essential component of the position. The work also will involve conceptualizing innovative ways to display news and advance participative news for Citizenisde's community and clients.
Required Qualities
Autonomy, creativity, curiosity, an organized disposition, and a strong interest in the audiovisual sector and the creation of content for online publication. Up-to-date knowledge of news happenings. A willingness to work in a dynamic startup and to contribute to its rapid development.
Profile sought

Community Manager
Position
Citizenside is the world’s largest citizen news agency. We gather news photos and videos from a network of members around the world, verify them, then publish them on our website and syndicate them to media partners around the world.
Citizenside was founded in 2006 and now works with many of the biggest media establishments in France. We are embarking on a major international expansion. We are looking for passionate online communicators with social media experience to help grow our network of contributors and make sure Citizenside is a rewarding, engaging online community.
The right candidate will be fluent in the functioning and practice of online communities. They will function as a key part of the editorial team, reporting to the Editor-in-Chief and working closely with the Deputy Editor and other editorial staff. They will work daily to grow and engage the Citizenside community with meaningfp conversations, identify key influencers in relevant online communities and constantly build relationships with them. The Community Manager will play a key creative part in the editorial development of the Citizenside network.

Editorial interns
Position
Citizenside's editorial interns get to operate right at the heart of our networked newsgathering operation. Interns work closely with the Community Manager and Editors. They play a key role in finding, verifying, researching and publishing content received from contributors around the world. Daily work involves gaining a wide range of experience in networked newsgathering, community management, and information verification, all based on solid research, writing and interviewing skills.
Internships are based in Paris and are paid. The length of the commitment shopd be 3-4 months.
Required Qualities
