Commision rates

What do I make if Citizenside sells my images?

We, the Citizenside team, like to keep it simple. As such, we've listened to our members' feedback and simplified our commission system. Here's how it works:

1 - You, the reporter, will get a 65% return on images sold to traditional media outlets (like newspapers and magazines) in your home country (that is, wherever you signed up with Citizenside).
2 - You'll get a 50% return on images sold to online media outlets (like to Slate.com or HuffingtonPost.com).
3 - You'll get a 50% return on images sold to media outlets outside of your home country (like when a French paper picks up a photo from a Swiss member).
4 - You'll get a 50% return on content that was validated on our over one month ago and has been put in our archives.

Examples :

1- Breaking News Sale: I send in a video to Citizenside on the 18th of July and Citizenside sells it for 1000€ the next day. So, I'll get 65% of the 1000€, or 650€.
The payment will be delivered within 60 days after the client pays Citizenside for the video, or a maximum of 120 days after the initial sale.
2- Archives Sale: Citizenside then resells my same video on the 25th of September for 500€ (more than a month after the validation of my video). As a video from the archives, I'll get 50% of that 500€, or 250€ in addition to the 650€ already earned. Not bad, huh
