Lana Del Rey

Celebrities United States - June 21th 1986

Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, who's better known by her stage name, Lana Del Rey, is an American singer-songwriter. She's gained recent (2011 and on) popularity around the world (with the help of viral media on the Internet) with the songs "Video Games" and "Born to Die."

The album "Born to Die" debuted in 2012 at number one in seven different countries.

Lana Del Rey, a "self-styled gangsta Nancy Sinatra" began her musical career in upstate New York where she sang in clubs and wrote her own songs. Del Rey's music is particularly noted for its cinematic feeling and reminds one of the 1950s and 1960s era style of music.
