Bob Mueller began by giving tribute not only to all survivors, but to the men who were lost, and will be remembered as long as the monument is standing.

All rose for the Roll Call of Honor as the traditional wreath was placed on the memorial monument by Veterans. The ceremony was put to a close with a gun salute and a moment for all survivors in the audience to stand by the monument together. "We were flying over the area shortly after the plane crashed into the IRS building. These are some photos we took from 3500'.

"At the beginning, the Air-traffic control was not sure it was a plane crash. We saw a huge smoke and a building in fire. I was flying in a small plane with a friend, I had my camera with me, we had no idea of the accident when we took off from Austin. 30 minutes later, the air-traffic confirmed it was a plane crash".

A software engineer furious with the US tax agency launched a suicide attack by crashing his small plane into an office building housing nearly 200 employees.

Store windows, vehicles, newspaper and post boxes and other assorted property were damaged along the way. Vancouver Police and RCMP allowed the damage to carry on without arrest until the crowd stopped in an attempt to block traffic from crossing a bridge from downtown to North Vancouver. Several arrests were made, though police exercised restraint in carrying out their duty. The former PM took to the stand as protesters outside the heavily guarded Queen Elizabeth Center II called for Mr Blair to made a defendant and to be taken to The Hague as a war criminal. Amongst the audience were family members of soldiers who lost their lives in the war.

Mr Blair's testimony caused upset among the families and many walked out of the Inquiry and a protester, Mr Gabriel Carlyle from Hastings, who gained access to the Inquiry room attempted to, in his words, conduct a citizen's arrest of a criminal. Mr Blair's testimony caused further outrage with the admission that he would have taken the same decision of going to war again if put in the same position.

The protests continued to the end of the day and further protests awaited the former Prime Minister as he made his way out. January 10, 2010 was the 9th Annual No Pants Subway ride; a tradition that started in New York is now nation and world wide.

About 44 different cities in 16 different countries participated this year. The only requirements are to be brave enough to take your pants off on the subway while keeping a straight face.

This was San Diego, Ca's first year participating in the event. Sunny weather conditions of 72 degrees made it a wonderful day to take your pants off and go for a ride around town.

About 35 people in San Diego came to the trolly station with no shame..and no pants. They rode around town on different trolleys from 2-5 pm acting like nothing was strange going on.

Aside from a lot of strange looks and a few missing articles of clothing, it was a normal beautiful day in San Diego. This event was a lot of fun and we hope it remains a growing annual tradition.]]>
