      <description><![CDATA[<div style="float:left;width:100%"><img style="float:left; padding: 0 10px 10px 0;" src="http://www.citizenside.com/Videos/17597/gallery/92873.jpg" alt="The outlines of Japan Expo in video"/>]]><![CDATA[“Cosplayers” with eccentric looks, initiation in martial arts, concerts and video games:  Japan Expo celebrates its 10th anniversary  from July 2nd to 5th in the exhibition site of Villepinte.<br /><br />Small round in video of the greatest demonstration devoted to the Japanese culture in Europe.<br /><br />This year, the most famous animation remains the Cosplay (contraction of the words Costume and Player).<br /><br />On a stage in free access, fans will parade disguised with the costume of their heroes of manga or video game.<br /><br />For the first time, a final will elect the French representatives for the world championship of Cosplay. <br /><br />For this 10th edition, great names of manga will be present this weekend, including the four authors of manga (known as “mangaka”) of the Clamp studio, which come for the first time to Europe.<br /><br />Several car lovers will also present their more beautiful tuning of Japanese cars. Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Suzuki… In all, 13 models will be exposed until Sunday.<br /><br />From 150,000 to 200,000 visitors are awaited this weekend for this new edition.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<div style="float:left;width:100%"><img style="float:left; padding: 0 10px 10px 0;" src="http://www.citizenside.com/Photos/17534/gallery/92601.jpg" alt="Black gold malediction: Amnesty International denounces pollution in Nigeria"/>]]><![CDATA[Amnesty International published a new report on Tuesday untitled "Petroleum, pollution and poverty in the Delta Niger" in which it accuses the Nigerian government and the oil companies of a "human right tragedy".<br /><br />31 million of people in the Delta Niger depend on natural environment for their food and livehood but all their resources are polluted.<br />"People living in the Niger Delta have to drink, cook with and wash in polluted water. They eat fish contaminated with oil and other toxins," said the report's co-author, Audrey Gaughran, Amnesty International's Head of Business and Human Rights.<br /><br /><br />The Niger delta constitutes a key area of Nigeria because it accounts for 80% of the Nigerian government's funds. <br />But in 30 years, more than 3 million of oil barrels had been poured throughout this zone, according to the United Nations.<br /><br />To Olav Ljosne, Shell's Africa communications director, "AI forget that 85 percent of the pollution from our operations comes from attacks and sabotage that also put our staff's lives and human rights at risk".]]></description>

They eat fish contaminated with oil and other toxins – if they are lucky enough to still find fish. The land they farm on is being destroyed. After oil spills the air they breathe smells of oil, gas and other pollutants.
